This position is accountable for the following major enterprise and business unit delivery functions:

Data warehouse and data management platform
Enterprise Integration platform
This role enables the following critical functions in the organization:

Leading the management and delivery of data warehouse and analytics for all business units.
Leading the newly forming function of enterprise integration (think services and API)
Key Stakeholders for this role include:

VP of IT Applications and Architecture ( supervisor)
CIO (dotted line for some functions)
2np VP of IT Applications (international technology)
CISO and head of IT Infrastructure and Operations
2nd VP of Business and Process Technology (business partner)

Job Duties to include the following:

Manage delivery team including 3-5 direct reports and a team of around 15 (mix of analysts, senior and junior developers)
Manage a budget of around $1-3 million, a mix of operational and project budget
Manage relationships and resources for critical delivery and operational vendors
Partner with business in planning and execution of the business plans- year over year and the 5-year business strategy
Work with the business and IT Architecture to incrementally modernize the legacy back office systems
Manage the enterprise data warehouse - day to day operations as well as ongoing development
Key contributor in the enterprise data management and governance function
Manage the newly developing enterprise integration capability including services and API development
Hire additional integration Developers and mature capability

Job Requirements to include the following:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer or information science or related field, Masters/MBA preferred
15 - 20 years of IT and technology management experience
Strong executive presence and ability to communicate to and partner with C-level executives is required
Special Requirements: Candidate must have experience in managing a mix of legacy and modern healthcare policy systems and related applications ecosystems like web, customer service and back-office operations
Insurance business domain knowledge is a major plus - especially for health, accident and life insurance
Data Management experience including data warehouse, analytics
Enterprise integration experience including modern integration platforms like Mulesoft and IBM Infosphere
Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture, agile modeling, and domain driven design
Ability to manage delivery and operations using vendors
Experience with managing remote/geographically distributed teams is a major plus
Experience with data architecture modeling tools
